JADE offers two thoughtfully designed pathways to meet students at different stages of
their academic and personal journeys.

JADE SUMMER
June 7, 2026 – July 1, 2026
A short-term immersion with lasting impact
A three-and-a-half-week program that introduces students to life in China through intensive Mandarin study, cultural exploration, and shared experiences with a global cohort. Ideal for students seeking a powerful first immersion or a meaningful summer experience abroad.
Best for:
Grades 8–12 students looking to accelerate Mandarin skills and cultural understanding in a supportive, structured environment.

JADE SEMESTER
Fall 2026 (August 2026 – December 2026 )
Spring 2027 (January 2027 – June 2027)
A deep academic and cultural immersion
A full semester living and learning in Beijing. Students join ISB’s academic and co-curricular life, live with host families, and experience China from the inside — academically, linguistically, and socially.
Best for:
Grades 9–12 students ready for a transformative semester that supports both academic progress and personal growth.
