At the International School of Beijing (ISB), we believe that every act of generosity strengthens the vibrant, caring community that has defined our school for 45 years. In honoring the 45 years, ISB is launching its Annual Fund program.
While tuition provides the foundation for an exceptional education, the Annual Fund empowers us to go even further in introducing innovative programs, enhancing our facilities, supporting world-class professional development for educators, and offering funding to students for extended learning. Equally important, it fosters a culture of philanthropy within our community – one that values giving, gratitude, and collective responsibility. These vital contributions ensure that ISB continues to thrive and deliver the highest quality education for generations to come.
The ISB Annual Fund provides flexible, immediate resources that support the area of greatest need – allowing us to respond quickly to opportunities and challenges that help every student thrive.
By default, gifts to the Annual Fund are undesignated and will be used at ISB’s discretion to provide the greatest impact for our students and community. But you may also choose to direct your support toward one of several specific projects listed below. Every contribution – of any size – will directly enhance teaching, learning, and community life at ISB and help us continue to live by our Mission and Strategic Focus Areas.

Giving Options
Undesignated (Area of Greatest Need)
Your unrestricted gift gives ISB the flexibility to allocate funds where they are needed most – supporting learning, student well-being, and community initiatives across campus.
Student Empowerment Fund
Support the Student Empowerment Fund (SEF), which provides grants to students’ special projects, inspiring curiosity and lifelong learning. The SEF is an example of Challenging and Joyful Learning, one of our Strategic Focus Areas.
JADE Program
Help expand global engagement initiatives such as the Jade Ambassador Dragon Exchange (JADE) Program, encouraging students to lead with empathy and purpose. JADE is an example of Purpose & Compassion, another of ISB’s Strategic Focus Areas.
Sustainability program
We are committed to making ISB a more sustainable school and community. A gift in this area will help advance eco-friendly infrastructure and environmental education
