International Day 2023

Parents, students, faculty, and staff – get ready to join us and represent your culture.

Open to all ISB community members including parents, students, and staff, International Day is a celebration of all the cultures found at ISB. The event has a long history here at school, and on Friday, October 13, 2023, we’re once again inviting families and staff to host stalls with food and entertainment from their home nations on campus. Students will break from their regular programming to enjoy the festivities, we’ll have the traditional ISB International Day parade, and we’re hoping to have guests from Beijing’s many embassies. There are roughly 60 countries and regions represented in our student, parent, and employee body, so this is going be a big festival of global citizenship!

International Day is coordinated by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and is a great opportunity for volunteering. Thank you to all those community members who’ve already signed up to host stalls and help out. The PTA will hold meetings preparing for International Day in the MPR on the following dates. All ISB community members (faculty and staff as well as parents of enrolled students) are welcome to join the meetings and get involved. ISB community members can also scan the QR code below to join a WeChat group dedicated to organizing International Day.
